Enrique José Rodríguez is a name that resonates in the world of communication, marketing and social networks. Born in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela, from a very young age he showed a passion for art and communication, interests that would lead him to forge a multifaceted career full of achievements and reinventions. His story is an inspiration for those who seek to combine creativity, strategy and perseverance to achieve success.
He showed this interest in the world of art and communication from his adolescence. At 18, he began working on the NCTV channel and Globovisión Zulia, as a production assistant on opinion programs, combining his work with his studies. He soon decided to take a step further in his career and become certified as a commercial announcer. This was the beginning of a successful career in radio, where he stood out as an entertainer on various radio stations in the city.
Enrique also discovered his interest in marketing and brand creation. To formalize this new path, he enrolled at Rafael Belloso Chacín University, where he graduated as a Social Communicator with a major in Advertising and Public Relations, standing out as an outstanding student. With more knowledge, he created his own image and marketing consulting company, which led him to manage successful campaigns for several important brands in Venezuela.
In 2013, he ventured into the world of makeup business. Taking advantage of his international connections and travels, he managed to distribute the American brand NYX Cosmetics in Venezuela. Three years later, he applied his marketing knowledge again to create the candy brands Candymenta and Chocomenta. These proposals were a resounding success in his native country, thanks to their attractive visual proposal and their distribution strategy, which included agreements with important chains and businesses in the country.
Rodríguez is not only a benchmark in marketing, he has also achieved a successful career in event organization, alongside the renowned wedding planner Indira Fodor. Once the pandemic hit, he was forced to reinvent himself once again, and this time he did so by standing out with viral content on social media, quickly gaining popularity, which allowed him to maintain his relevance in the digital world. In 2021, he further expanded his repertoire by becoming the host of an interview podcast called “H minus H” on YouTube and also ventured into the world of stand-up comedy, performing at the prestigious Trail Theater in Miami with considerable success.
Currently, Enrique is a correspondent for the digital channel LAKW.TV (since 2022) and advertising image of the Hyundai brand from the headquarters in Doral, Florida, also dedicating himself to advising said brand, handling all the image and public relations. He combines both jobs perfectly with a new stage as a motivational coach for new entrepreneurs.
