A Life Between Languages and Stories
I’ve lived a life between places — born in the Netherlands, shaped by years in Spain, Italy, and along the Mediterranean coast. I speak several languages, but my real language has always been connection.
That love for storytelling led me to start Baasgalgo in Spain — a nonprofit that rescued abandoned galgos. What began as a small act of compassion grew into a national movement supported by artists, journalists, and public figures.
“It showed me that stories can change behavior,” I often say. “If you can make people feel something, you can move them to act.”
The Courage to Realign
Years later, I found myself in the luxury retail world in the U.S. It was exciting, but something felt off. I was helping global brands speak beautifully, but I’d lost my own voice along the way.
Leaving that world was my turning point. I wasn’t starting from zero — I was taking everything I’d learned and rebuilding with meaning. That’s how Baas Studio came to life.
Bringing Heart Back to Branding
Through Baas Studio, I help founders and boutique brands find the heart of their story. Together, we turn it into messaging that feels honest, grounded, and aligned. I look at what a brand wants to say and what it’s actually saying — then I bridge the gap.
The work is part strategy, part intuition. It’s about creating brands that people trust because they finally sound like themselves.

I’m not interested in quick wins or surface-level branding. I want to help soulful businesses — from wellness leaders to boutique hotels — connect with their audiences in a way that feels real. The work is intimate, creative, and deeply human.

Right now, I’m focused on growing a consultancy that stays small by design — high-touch, thoughtful, and rooted in real relationships. I’m also building a library of tools and resources for people navigating reinvention.
