Homeless Boy to Hero

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Stream.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I appreciate you taking the time to speak with me today!

I love this question! This is probably 1 of the most important questions I have asked others who have made it and what others ask me.

Let me give you 3 steps ! If you follow these three steps I promise all of the readers you will also be successful.

Step 1 – Believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, NO ONE ELSE WILL!! You better start playing make believe because that’s exactly what it takes to accomplish goals! You have to daydream, dream, play make believe and then Plan!

Step 2 – PLAN! Make a plan! Without a plan or a map you are like a ship at sea and will be lost! You will float around this life until you sink, give up, or just straight up FAIL!

Step 3 – NEVER GIVE Up!! IF YOU QUIT YOU FAIL! My favorite quote is by Mike Tyson . Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face!

You have to struggle to build strength! You will get hit, and doors will close !! BUT DOORS WILL ALWAYS Open!

Your life will not always be easy. It will be full of obstacles, challenges and hurdles that you will have to overcome.

If you keep going you will learn, and attract others who are on the same mission, level and frequencies ! DON’T EVER GIVE UP.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Sleeping in a homeless shelter and different foster homes destroyed my childhood. I was adopted, my mother ended her own life, and I was making bad choices. I was raised in a good family along with 10 other kids including my 3 real brothers! I still struggled with depression, anxiety, and being lost. I turned to addiction along with playing the piano to numb my pain. The addiction only made my life worse. I was addicted to illegal substances and going to jail multiple times, paying the courts over $30,000, and being sued ! It was time to change my life! I served in the military for 13 years and deployed to Afghanistan twice and changed my life!

Well I thought it would.. Going to war 2 times opened up a whole new mental health ball game!

Around 23 of the 32 soldiers in my platoon had the vehicles hit with an IED “bomb” 1 in my unit was killed it was very challenging in the war zone and then retuning back Home to normal life!

I have learned it’s ok to get help. I still get help and can say it will a big smile on my face.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I had been homeless as a kid, my parents made pretty bad decisions, my father was incarcerated and my mom ended her own life. I ended up in foster care and struggled in school because of an undiagnosed learning disability, but didn’t give up! Addiction destroyed my childhood, it ripped my family apart! I scrubbed my brown skin as a child hoping I was white under so I could match my adopted family. I have been addicted to illegal substances and went to jail many times! I have been to battle faught in real wars ! I have a story to tell and I have performed all over the world and that get those standing ovation! I play the piano blindfolded and then flip around abs play upside down without stopping! I know I am very unique, and so many people can relate.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Our decisions impact our lives and our thoughts are often the sources behind the reasoning. When our mind is still in panic mode, it can deepl impact how we react and it can make things so much harder for us to cope and move forward. From our experience, wisdom can be born. Ryan Stream has the right experience for his kind of wisdom. From a broken and destructive path, Ryan has been able to overcome bad decisions, addictions, PTSD, and painful memories and experiences with the power of his thinking. “I almost lost my family because I was a mess. PTSD was really hard on me and my wife and I couldn’t keep following the patterns I was trying to get out of,” he says. Advertisement Ryan had a pretty rough childhood and led him to make poor choices later on. After repeating a lot of the same mistakes over and over. “I had addictions and a criminal record after high school, and then joined the military where I witnessed a lot of heartache and destruction, but I still hadn’t dealt with what was hurting me from when I was a kid,” Ryan explains. “I didn’t know how much positive thinking and changing my thoughts would make such a huge difference.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

I will use my gifts, smile and skills to bring light to dark places.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.
