Today we’d like to introduce you to Aimee Purple Rain.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I got where I am today by pursuing my passion, which is music and using my voice to make a difference. I am an artist (lyricist/singer/songwriter) I am a former battle rapper. Originally from Norfolk Virginia, living in Texas.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I have overcome self doubt and fear. I have learned to do what makes me happy with no regrets. Success to me is achieving any goal I set for myself.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in adapting to any environment as well as working under pressure. I have been doing music since 1999. I am extremely diverse and invested in the culture of hip hop.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Follow your heart, surround yourself with people who are successful and learn from them.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me means achieving any goal you personally set for yourself.
