Entrepreneurship is rarely a straight line. Ashley Miers knows this better than most. A creative at heart, her path has included acting, songwriting, music production, coaching, and launching a cooking-meets-music show. The common thread? An unshakable commitment to growth—even when the process was messy.
Learning to Adapt
Miers began her entrepreneurial career with Violet Vista Ventures in 2008 and soon expanded into music and advocacy. But the deeper journey was internal. “I wish I had realized how much iteration would be required,” she says. “I had the mistaken impression I could build my business once and that would be that.”
Instead, she learned that entrepreneurship requires constant adaptation, much like personal growth. Her advice to newcomers: treat success as a long game. “There will always be excuses,” she adds. “It’s up to you to forge ahead or fold your hand.”
Building With Intention
A pivotal shift came when Miers joined Yuri Elkaim’s Healthpreneur program, where she learned to streamline business operations and build a team. Delegating tasks freed her to focus on vision and impact—an essential lesson for anyone balancing personal well-being with professional goals.
The Power of Self-Care
For Miers, work-life balance is not negotiable. Nutrition, exercise, sleep, and family time form her foundation. She also prioritizes therapy, mentorship, and laughter—tools she considers essential for avoiding burnout. “True sustainability comes from honoring yourself,” she says.
Scaling for Impact
Her current ventures reflect that balance. Through Dancing in the Kitchen, she blends music and nutrition to elevate mood and mental health, while her mastermind UPLIFT incubates women’s creative and entrepreneurial dreams.
Her vision is bold: household brand recognition, bestselling authors and artists launched through her incubator, and a speaking career that places her alongside global leaders in personal development.
“It’s not just about success,” she emphasizes. “It’s about creating impact that ripples outward.”
